Switch from Trail to ProCafe
Trail keeps your task history behind its own reports. ProCafe imports what Trail lets you export, so your fridges, checks and the records a health inspector may ask for come with you.

Your set-up
Fridges, freezers and hot holding, your people, menu items with their allergens, and suppliers come in from a spreadsheet export. Nothing is typed twice.
Your past records
Old temperature logs, checks and deliveries are kept with an Imported badge and the app they came from, so a visit sees the full history. They never count as missed or late. They go into the inspection pack beside ProCafe's own records.
Your PDF archive
The PDF reports your old app exports are stored as documents in a Before ProCafe folder, one tap away during a visit.
How to export from Trail
Trail's help centre documents two routes out of Task Reports. Both are run from Trail's web app by someone with access to reports.

Open Task Reports in Trail and set the filters for the sites, tasks and dates you want.

Choose Share, then export as CSV. Trail emails the file to the address on your account.

For a readable copy, export the same report as PDF instead; keep it for the archive.

In ProCafe, open Setup › Switch to ProCafe, choose Past records, pick Trail as the source and upload the CSV.
Trail's export carries the task data, not the attachments: photos and files stay in Trail unless you download them separately.

What ProCafe does not do
- It does not pull anything out of your old app automatically. You export; ProCafe imports.
- It never asks for, stores or uses your login to another product.
- It does not rewrite old records. An imported record keeps its original time, who recorded it and what they wrote, and is marked as imported.
