Switch from FoodDocs to ProCafe
FoodDocs lets you download monitoring records a check at a time, and its documents as PDF. ProCafe imports those files, so the history you built there is kept beside your new records.

Your set-up
Fridges, freezers and hot holding, your people, menu items with their allergens, and suppliers come in from a spreadsheet export. Nothing is typed twice.
Your past records
Old temperature logs, checks and deliveries are kept with an Imported badge and the app they came from, so a visit sees the full history. They never count as missed or late. They go into the inspection pack beside ProCafe's own records.
Your PDF archive
The PDF reports your old app exports are stored as documents in a Before ProCafe folder, one tap away during a visit.
How to export from FoodDocs
FoodDocs documents the download from its desktop version. It works per monitoring check, so a business with several checks exports each one.

Open the desktop version of FoodDocs and go to the monitoring check you want to keep.

Choose the date range, then Download as CSV or XLSX. Save a CSV where you can; a spreadsheet can save XLSX as CSV.

Repeat for each monitoring check. Documents and plans come out as PDF.

In ProCafe, open Setup › Switch to ProCafe, choose Past records, pick FoodDocs as the source and upload one file at a time.

What ProCafe does not do
- It does not pull anything out of your old app automatically. You export; ProCafe imports.
- It never asks for, stores or uses your login to another product.
- It does not rewrite old records. An imported record keeps its original time, who recorded it and what they wrote, and is marked as imported.
