• Chemical safety and SDS

  Keep a chemical register with safety data sheets, storage, hazards, exposure controls and PPE. Link a site assessment and publish reviewed instructions for staff. Available in the webapp.

• Structured risk assessments

  Record hazards, people at risk, likelihood, severity, controls and residual risk. Assign follow-up actions and review dates with preserved version history. Available in the webapp.

• Fire-safety records

  Maintain fire-equipment and certificate registers, evacuation drill findings, risk assessments and follow-up actions. Set review dates according to your premises and local requirements. Available in the webapp.

• Manual food-safety plan authoring

  Author process flows, hazard analysis, critical control points, monitoring, corrective actions and review records. HACCP plans support your site process; SFBB authoring is available for England and Wales. Review and publish versions with PDF exports. Available in the webapp.

• Document renewal tracking

  Add expiry dates, responsible people and up to six in-app reminders to documents. Track site-specific or organisation-wide insurance, licences, policies and certificates without changing the original document history. Available in the webapp.

• Contractors, repairs and costs

  Coordinate equipment and property repairs with contractor records, bookings in the site time zone, quotes, invoices, costs and warranty documents. Record the completed work and the next service date. Available in the webapp.

• Courses and verifiable completion

  Assign short awareness courses, acknowledge lessons and complete server-assessed knowledge checks. Download an internal completion certificate. Learners can choose an expiring public verification link, with their name optional, and revoke it later. These are not accredited qualifications. Available in the webapp.

• Supplier changes and dish review

  Save supplier specifications and link ingredients or dishes. See dishes affected by a specification change, record each review and retain the earlier evidence. Published allergen information changes only through the separate matrix review workflow. Available in the webapp.

• Complaint handling and trends

  Track complaints from receipt through investigation, response and resolution. Assign corrective actions and compare recorded categories across sites over the last 90 days. Trends are based on your structured records. Available in the webapp.

These management and course workflows require an internet connection. Plans are prepared and reviewed by people. Training certificates record internal completion and are not accredited qualifications. Core trials retain Core access; Pro procedures and labels require Pro.

• Recording gaps and older overdue checks prevent a misleading healthy 100% score.
• See today’s remaining checks separately from older overdue work, with the last genuine temperature-recording date.
• Days with no generated tasks are highlighted as recording gaps. ProCafe does not create readings or claim an exact historical missed-task count for those days.
• More reliable mobile session restoration and biometric unlock after you have signed in and enabled it on your device.

Version 1.0.5 brings the safety, training and maintenance additions above to mobile, alongside the recording-gap and sign-in improvements. Android also receives a better-spaced launcher icon with the complete ProCafe logo.

Store releases require Apple or Google approval. Check your store listing for availability. The new management and course workflows need a connection; supported daily checks and temperature capture retain offline sync. Shared kitchen tablets use the browser interface. Bluetooth probe support remains a preview without physical hardware verification.
