Sensor monitoring

Connect supported wireless temperature sensors to the equipment they monitor. New Monnit, Dragino and Milesight connections are available in preview; physical-device verification is still pending. Confirm a live reading before relying on automatic monitoring.

What it does

Monnit, Dragino and Milesight

Guided setup for Monnit ALTA temperature sensors, Dragino LHT65N, and Milesight EM300-TH, EM320-TH and EM500-PT100. Choose the correct temperature channel, including supported Dragino external probes.

Know what your hardware needs

Monnit requires a gateway and iMonnit Premiere or Enterprise Data Webhook access. Dragino and Milesight require a LoRaWAN gateway, The Things Stack v3 and the manufacturer decoder. Other devices can integrate if their gateway can send our API format.

History you can inspect

View the last 24 hours or 7 days, see minimum and maximum temperatures, load older readings and download the readings shown as CSV. Each site displays its own time zone and temperature unit.

Clear alerts and connection status

New out-of-range readings open an alert; newer in-range readings resolve it. Delayed samples cannot clear a newer failure. Sensors awaiting their first reading or with readings over 60 minutes old are clearly marked.

Keys you control

Create a connection key for one site or your organisation, reuse it for additional sensors, and revoke it when needed. Keys are shown once and stored as hashes.

How it works

1. Choose the sensor and equipment

Select the model and temperature channel, enter its sensor ID or DevEUI, and attach it to the equipment with the safe limit you want to monitor.

2. Connect your gateway

Follow the model-specific instructions to configure the webhook and connection key in iMonnit or The Things Stack. Hardware and any vendor cloud charges are separate.

3. Confirm the first reading

Check that a live reading appears and matches your probe. Monitor readings, investigate alerts and download the displayed history when needed. Sensor records remain separate from manual check records.

A record that never sleeps

See each sensor’s latest measurement, an explicit warning when readings are old, and a temperature history with saved safe-limit results. These gateway integrations complement your team’s manual checks.

  • Model-specific gateway setup
  • Reading history and CSV of the readings shown
  • Site time zones, °C / °F and revocable keys
