Australia: before you start

Organise evidence around the activities in your Australian food business. Standard 3.2.2A's evidence tool applies to category one businesses; the relevant work includes receiving, storing, processing, displaying and transporting food, plus cleaning and sanitising. Match the records to your business category and state or territory requirements.

  1. Confirm your business category and the applicable state or territory requirements before choosing routines. Standard 3.2.2A tools and a separately required food-safety program are different obligations.
  2. For each relevant prescribed activity, connect the safe method, staff responsibilities and evidence. Include transport or off-site catering when it is part of the business.
  3. Review an export alongside the procedures and corrective actions it refers to. Discuss any alternative way of substantiating controls with the authorised officer; the app does not decide whether it is acceptable.

The inspection report, one tap

When an inspector is at the counter: on mobile, open Records → Inspection report; on the web, use the Readiness page. Pick the period — the last 90 days is what inspectors usually ask for — and create the PDF.

  • It's built from your live records: checks, temperatures, out-of-range events and what was done, equipment and limits.
  • Share it by email or AirDrop, print it, or hand the phone over.
  • Owners and managers can create it; the PDF states the site, period and when it was made.

Record exports

Any date range exports as PDF, CSV or Excel from the records and calendar views. Voided entries stay in every export, marked with the manager's note — nothing is hidden.

Readiness

The readiness view surfaces gaps from your own records — missed checks, open corrective actions — so you can close them before an inspection. It reflects your records; it does not approve you or guarantee compliance.
