Connect a supported temperature sensor
Check the model and integration, map the equipment and review readings and alerts.

- Open sensor setup and check the supported connector, model, gateway or vendor account requirements. Wireless does not mean universally compatible.
- Connect using the supported route, identify the device and map it to the correct location and equipment. Verify its measurement unit and a fresh test reading.
- Review thresholds, alert recipients and stale-reading handling. Retain calibration and battery, gateway and network checks.
- Inspect history and investigate any alert. Use manual readings when needed, recording the actual time and corrective action.
A sensor's air reading cannot replace a required food-core, cooking, holding-time or cooling observation. Do not assume that an offline phone receives live remote alerts.
