Canadian provinces and territories set different training and presence rules. Upload accepted course evidence, the holder, issuing body, completion and expiry dates, and the relevant location. Confirm that the course is accepted where the person works.
- Ontario: subject to exemptions, a trained food handler or supervisor must be present during every hour a food-service premises operates.
- Québec: keep the responsible manager's required training and document the selected coverage route, including the training register. A training document acknowledgement is not a MAPAQ certificate.
- Alberta: the on-site requirement depends on the number of food handlers, including serving staff, and the applicable activity. Review the local guide before assigning coverage.
Use documents, assignments and the staff schedule to organize evidence, and check actual attendance and absences. ProCafe does not issue an accredited food-handler qualification. Renew certificates according to the issuing body and local rule.
