Canadian retail food labels
Prepare bilingual ingredients, nutrition, quantity, dates and reviewed print history with Pro.

- Choose the Canadian location and create a retail product. Add English and French common names, the responsible business name and address, net quantity, storage instructions and the real package surfaces.
- Build the ingredient declaration from formulation weights, components and grouped sugars. Review priority allergens, gluten sources, added sulphites and actual seafood names. Enter reviewed customer translations.
- Assess nutrition and front-of-package exemptions from the actual preparation, packaging and sales conditions. Record the evidence; a cafe's name or a small business size is not an automatic exemption.
- Enter sourced nutrient analysis per 100 g or 100 mL, the household serving measure, serving size and reference amount. Use measured density when converting volume and weight. Missing nutrient analysis is not zero.
- Add extra nutrients required by fortification or a claim. Review fatty-acid dependencies and any required vitamin or mineral declarations. Assess the complete representation, including the package and advertising.
- For each batch, enter its code and dates, review the PDF and confirm the actual label review before recording a final print. Check the physical package, layout and required particulars at 100% scale.
The Nutrition Facts table uses Canadian rounding and daily values, with optional additional nutrients. A general adult table does not cover every specialized product or age group. Claims, unusual formats and other product-specific declarations still require a complete regulatory assessment.
Where a front-of-package nutrition symbol is required, the official artwork must be available before a final label can be issued. ProCafe blocks a final print if required artwork is missing; a draft preview cannot be used for sale.
Saved print history retains the reviewed names, profile version, location time zone, batch details and PDF. Later recipe edits do not rewrite earlier labels. Recheck the complete label before reprinting for another use.
